Annual Membership information

Garage Sale Trail is a membership program for councils which supports council’s key objectives in the areas of:
  • Waste education and reduction
  • Sustainability
  • Community engagement and development

Garage Sale Trail takes place every year and happens next on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 November 2020.

Membership fees for Metro councils in VIC

Councils participating in the program pay an annual membership fee which provides unlimited access to the program to their residents each year as well as a council branded toolkit of promotional materials, real-time data on local participation and an impact report, prepared by an independent research company.

The minimum term for councils joining the program is two years, with many councils choosing to sign up for three years or more. This enables the program to achieve its full potential in your local area and become embedded in the local community and council calendar.
